This poster presents 635 television shows that we all grew up watching. The focus of this project is to recognize one of the most influential genres of TV – the Sitcom.
These date back to 1949, and are still quite prevalent throughout our programming today. When Sitcoms began, they were broadcast among three main networks (ABC, NBC & CBS). Much later, FOX began broadcasting it’s own roster of Sitcoms – all of which are included in this print. In addition to the list of show names, included are the years they were broadcast as well as a color-coded network scheme. Everything is arranged in chronological order, so that one can best understand the progression of the complex timeline of entertainment.
